Mrs. Bessie Pletcher, wife of Joseph G. Pletcher, of Bellwood, died Dec. 1, 1943, at Brougeville, PA while visiting the home of a stepson, Joseph Pletcher. Death was attributed to a cerebral hemorrhage. She was born March 29, 1875, at Alexandria, Huntingdon County, daughter of George and Mary (McComb) Estep. Mrs. Pletcher was previously married to John H. McGlinsey who died in 1931. Six children of that union survive, two brothers, a sister and a half-brother. Mrs. Pletcher married Joseph G. Pletcher in 1935 and he survives with the following stepchildren; Mrs. Elvira Kennedy of Bellwood; Mrs. H.T. Harvey, of Millivale; Mrs. Job Bowers of Altoona; Grant C. Pletcher of Crete, IL, and Joseph D. Pletcher at whose home she died. Also five grandchildren, two of them being in the service in the South Pacific. Member of Bellwood
Methodist Church.

Mrs. Bessie McGlinsey Pletcher, wife of Joseph G. Pletcher, Bellwood, died at Brogueville, Pa. while on a visit to the home of Joseph Pletcher, Wednesday morning, December 1, 1943, at 8:45 o'clock from a cerebral hemorrhage. She was born March 29, 1875, at Alexandria, Huntingdon county, the daughter of George and Mary (McCombs) Estep, both deceased. Mrs. Pletcher was previously married to John H. McGlinsey, who died in 1931.
These children of that union survive, two sons and four daughters: Harry C. McGlinsey, Juniata; John H. McGlinsey, State College; Mrs. B. B. Briggs and Mrs. E. E. Shaffer, both of Bellwood; Mrs. Lucy Walsh, Philadelphia; Mrs. L. R. Hobbs, Pittsburgh. Also surviving are two brothers, Howard W. Estep, New Kensington, and Harry Estep, Altoona; one sister, Mrs. Ada Stewart, Lewistown; a half brother, Clayton Estep, Columbus, O. Mrs. Pletcher was married to
Joseph G. Pletcher in 1935 and he survives with the following stepchildren: Mrs. Elvira Kennedy, Bellwood; Mrs. H. F. Harvey, Millvale, Pa.; Mrs. Joel Bowers, Altoona; Grant C. Pletcher, Crete, 111., and Joseph D. Pletcher, at whose home she died. She was a member of the Methodist Church, Bellwood. Friends will be received at the
home, 609 North Tenth Street,Bellwood, after 9 o'clock this evening.
