Born January 4, 1911 in Ephraim, Utah to Hyrum Bosen and Zina Fredricksen. Married Allen Alma Poulsen, April 20, 1934; later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He preceded her in death February 7, 1978, after 44 beautiful years together. Una was active in the LDS church and worked in the Salt Lake and Manti Temples. She taught Sunday School, Primary and served as counselor and Relief Society president in Dugway, where they lived for 11 years. They were foster parents to two Indian children during this time.
They returned to Salt Lake in 1974 to be with family and friends and she was active in Granger 14th Ward with Primary and Visiting Teachers. They managed Ephraim Creamery in Salt Lake and later owned two grocery stores. Una was a very happy, optimistic person and loved people around her. Was active in genealogy work, was gifted at writing and completed a beautiful life history for the family.
Preceded in death by her sister, Joy Anna Bills, and her brothers, Wendell, Juel, Afton, Boyd and Calvin. She was very close to Lois and Georgia Bosen, sisters-in-law. Not having any children of her own, she loved her nieces and nephews dearly and they all loved her.
Survived by 22 nieces and nephews, Donna Joy, Lynda Joy, Calvin and Thomas Bills; Bette Maack, Elaine Hill, Jean Duffy, Robert, Richard, Don and Al Bosen; Carol Colley, Rodger Bosen, LaWana Hardy, Verna Goings, Bonnie Joy Davis, Lee and David Bosen, Neta Peacock, Joy Wells, Clair and Wendell Bosen; sister-in-law, Hazel Poulsen Heninger and niece, Margie Galloway.
