Born June 20, 1909, in Monroe County, she was the daughter of Curtis Alexander and Kittie (Headley) Alexander.
She was a homemaker and a farmer. She was a member of Sherwood Oaks Christian Church, the Ellettsville Senior Citizens Club and the Sewing Club.
Survivors include one son and his wife, Dale and Reva Bell of Bloomington; one sister-in-law, Evelyn Alexander of Bloomington; seven grandchildren, 16 great-granchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James "Frank" Bell; one son and daughter-in-law, Donald and Cosette Bell; two sisters, Fern Young and Betty Vint; one brother, Robert Alexander; and two granddaughters.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Deremiah-Frye Mortuary, Greene & Harrell Chapel with Alan Phillips officiating. Burial will follow at Valhalla Memory Gardens.
