Brewer - Services for Oscar Clyde Brewer, 85, of Garland are at 1 p.m. Friday in the Miller Road Baptist Church in Garland with the Rev. Tommy Lockwood and the Rev. Byron Myrick officiating. Burial will be in the Plano Mutual Cemetery in Plano. Brewer, a 32-year resident of Garland, and a retired Decker Packing Co. employee, died Tuesday in a local nursing home. He is survived by wife, Louella Mitchell Brewer of Garland; daughters, Lodessa Russom of Garland, Lodema Loveless of Plano and JoAn Biasotti of Irving; brother, Leslie Brewer of Winnsboro; sister, Olivia Mitchell of Winnsboro, eight grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Brewer was born in Cooper on May 19, 1900. Local arrangements are being handled by Williams Funeral Directors.
