Funeral Services For Jacob Ring, Jr. To Be Held Thursday---Funeral services for Jacob Ring, Jr., 22 years old, of 532 State Street, will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the Trinity Lutheran Church and will be conducted by the Rev. O. K. Hensel.. The burial will be at Riverside Cemetery. Mr. Ring, who had been ill for several weeks, died at 3:30 o'clock this morning at a local hospital. He was born on December 6, 1911, at Lincoln, Neb. When he was one year old his parents moved from Lincoln to Sterling and have lived in Sterling since that time. As a child, Mr. Ring attended public schools and was graduated from the Lutheran High School in 1926. After having been employed for a number of years, he entered the Northeastern Business College two years ago and was about to complete his course.
Mr. Ring is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Ring, Sr., of Sterling; one sister Mrs. Mary Amen, who resides on a farm near Sterling; and one brother; Edward, of Sterling. Arrangements are in charge of the A.D. Jackson and Son Mortuary. - (Sterling, CO, Tuesday, July 31, 1934)
