Mrs. Plummer, whose home was a half-mile southwest of Mays, had spent her entire life in northwestern Rush County. She was a member of the Eastern Star at Carthage. She was born in Rush County, the daughter of Washington Perry and Mary Alsman Ball and married Vernie Plummer, who died in 1960.
Surviving were several cousins, including Karl Kizer of Indianapolis and Jesse Kizer of Carthage; two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Orso Draper, R. R. 3, and Mrs. Orville Plummer of Wilkinson and three neices.
Services were held at the Hampton Mortuary in Carthage, with Charlie Alligood officiating.
