When Aunt Mary died, the Wilson Cemetery road was in such bad shape they had to use a pulpwood truck to carry her to the cemetery for the service.
Aunt Mary, Gladys and nephew James Flurry use to live in the Dantzler company houses on stilts by the old Dantzler Commissary (on Hwy 57)that later became the Dees General Store.
There were several company houses on stilts in the creek bottom on both sides of the old store.
