HUSTONTOWN, Pa. - Mary Alice Grissinger, 70, of Hustontown, died Monday, Oct. 26, 1998, at Fulton County Medical Center, McConnellsburg, Pa
.
Born June 12, 1928, in Dublin Mills, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Ray and Ora Park Hess.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elden M. "Bob" Grissinger, in 1996. They were married Jan. 17, 1948
.
She retired in 1990 after 20 years as a cafeteria worker at Forbes Road Schools. She was a member of Dublin Mills Community Church, Hustontown. She was a member of Forbes Road Alumni Association Scholarship Fund Committee.

She is survived by three children, Stephen G. Grissinger of Dublin Mills, Karen L. Long of New Grenada, Pa., and Amy J. Patterson of Maddensville, Pa.; two sisters, Ruth Gladfelter of Bozeman, Mont., and Helen Souders of Dublin Mills; a brother, Sheldon Hess of Elyria, Ohio; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Mark Grissinger; and a brother.

Services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Dublin Mills Community Church, Hustontown. Pastor Sam Stoey will officiate. Burial will be in Cherry Grove Cemetery, Three Springs, Pa. Friends may call today from 2 to 9 p.m. at M. R. Brown Funeral Home, Hustontown.
