Herman Stanley Alstatt, Marquette, 84, passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2015. He was born March 12, 1930 the son of Herman Oscar and Gertrude Burnison Alstatt.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Eudora Brown Alstatt, a brother, Norman, a sister, Letha, and a daughter, Delores.
Stanley is survived by his sons: Wes Alstatt, Hays; Terry Alstatt, Salina, Daryl Alstatt, McPherson, and daughters; Vicki Young, and Letha Alstatt, both of Marquette, brothers: Dean Alstatt, Hutchinson, Kay Alstatt, McPherson, Vernon Alstatt, Monteca, CA and sisters: Flora Malm, Charlotte Knackstedt, and Jaye Sellhorn all of Marquette.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Monday, February 16 at Elim Lutheran Church. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 17, 2015, 11:00 a.m. at the church with burial following at the Lutheran Cemetery, Marquette.
Memorials may be designated to the Riverview Estates Nursing Home in care of Christians Funeral Home 103 N. Washington, Lindsborg, KS 67456.
