Geraldine Boatner likely was the first born child and daughter of Dr. John Wesley Boatner, MD and Deanie Manda Boatner. According to the US Census Mortality schedule for 1880 she was born in Tarrant County, Texas in 1878, and died of Scarlet Fever at the age of two years in August 1880 in the same county. Her tombstone is broken into two pieces and is the smallest of the four markers. Her tombstone appears to be older of the four family stones. The only inscription that can be made out is her name and a faint image of letters of the date. There appears to be only one date on the stone but it can not be confirmed due to the state of the stone. There are parts of other tombstones that may indicate two other infants besides Geraldine and Mary are buried in the plot. This can not be confirmed due to the state of the markers. The top of Geraldine's marker has been separated from the base of the marker.
