She was born October 8, 1927 in Washington County, Arkansas to Samuel Henry and Ollie Gertrude (Sizemore) Johnson.
She worked for Tyson Foods for many years.
She enjoyed crocheting, gardening and she was a great cook.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thurman Vaughan; one son, Randy Vaughan; Parents; and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include two sons, Rick Vaughan (and wife, Traci), and Jerry Vaughan (and wife, Cathy) all of Springdale; one sister, Lena Johnson of Springdale; several grandchildren, including Randy Vaughan, Zackary Vaughan, Garrett Vaughan, and Rikki Vaughan; and One great-grandchild, Addisyn Vaughan.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 21, 2017 at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale.
Burial will follow in the Sonora Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
