Funeral services were held at Meigs, in Thomas Co yesterday for Mrs. H.B. Barwick, whose death occurred Monday at her home near Clyattville, in Lowndes Co, following an illness of several weeks.
Mrs. Barwick was 52 years of age, and has resided at Clyattville for many years, during which time she was actively identified with the Baptist church and all of its enterprises. She was widely known for her strong Christian character and her many good deeds.
Surviving Mrs. Barwick are 10 children, including Mrs. Vienna Gray of Pelham, Mrs. Minnie Jacobs, Mrs. Jewel Pecton and Miss Agnes Barwick; L.W. Barwick, Bruce Barwick, Elroy Barwick all residing in Lowndes Co; Thomas Barwick of Atlanta and James Barwick of Jacksonville, Fla. -
