Joseph H. Ackerman, 90, of Canby, Ore., died Saturday, Nov. 30, 2002.
He was born in Minnesota. He had worked for the Howe Mining Co. on Lake Chelan, was a logger and piloted a tugboat on the Willamette River for Publisher's Paper Co. in Oregon City.
Survivors include a daughter, Marlene Plaisted of Hillsboro, Ore.; two sons, Robert Gwynne of Knoxville, Tenn., and George Gwynne of Brier; and a brother, Kenneth Ackerman of Wenatchee.
There will be no services. Arrangements are by Canby Funeral Chapel, Canby, Ore.
