Nampa -- Charles Waigand, 64, died sddenly from a heart attack Sunday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. O.Y. Mason of Lake Shore Drive. He was born in Missouri and came to Nampa in 1904 to become associated with his father in the meat business. He was recently employed in New Plymouth. He is survived by two sons, Charles Waigand Jr., Larry Waigand and one daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Tucker, all of Chicago; three sisters, Mrs. Richard Kiner of Boise; Mrs. Edward Goodale of Lafayette, Calif., and Mrs. Mason of Nampa; one brother, Ben Waigand, former Nampa mayor; seven grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Services pending at Robinson's.
