She was born May 19, 1918, in Salus, Ark., to William Alfred and Ella Luella (James) Warren. She grew up in Salus, Ark., and attended school there.
She married Wilburn Lee Pugh on June 2, 1935. He preceded her in death.
She worked for the Kansas Army Ammunition Plant from 1968 to 1978. She went to work for USD 445 as a custodian until her retirement in 1993. After her retirement, she worked as a health care provider.
Survivors include two daughters, Geraldine Castle of Chetopa and Marianne Long of McCune; a son, Richard L. Pugh of Coffeyville; 18 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchilren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Billy Ray Pugh, and a daughter, Eunice Luella Waltz; two brothers; and a sister.
