Amelia was a daughter to Johann H. and Barbara (Lichty) Fischer. She was married to Francis Addams. According to some family records they had a daughter Mary that was supervisor of schools in Reading from 1906 . Both of her parents died at a young age. Amelia's mother Barbara was the daughter of Marx and Anna Barbara (Altendorfer) Lichty.
