Wilbur was an English Bulldog. He had gotten his name from the movie Charolotte's Web, because he snorted like a pig.

His original family was giving him up because they had too many children and too many pets and could not afford all of them. So my younger brother and I went in partnership and bought Wilbur, not to replace Missy, but to give us a family member to love.

We took him home and the first night he howled all night because he missed his former family. Finally he came around to us not too long after that and had some great memories. We got him nose and eye surgery to help him breathe better and to see better. I started getting to be more closer to Wilbur and bought my brothers half to make him fully my dog. We played, wrestled and had long walks all the time. I would take him to school for my baby brothers show and tell.

And then one day, we noticed he was losing alot of weight because he was a healthy dog. We took him to the Vet and he said that he had cancer. The doctor said that it had already spreaded pretty bad. He was always tooken to the Vet, just never saw the symptoms. Wilbur was skinny as a rail one day and I took him to the Vet because I did not want him to suffer no more. His spine was twisting because of the weight loss. Once at the Vet, the doctor gave him a shot and I asked him how long would it take and he said "better say your goodbyes now". I looked at him and cried telling him that I was sorry that I did that and that I loved him so much. My friend was there with me crying and Vets are supposed to be professionals and they were crying too. It took only 5 minutes to walk in, get him signed and walk out with his body.

He is now buried right beside Missy in my parents backyard. He too has a headstone that I have made for him out of wood. He will truely be missed. He was always loved because he was the center of attention.

I like to thank *Love Always Renee* for sponsoring Wilbur's memorial.
