Agnes Peterson, daughter of Johan Wilhelm Peterson and Inger Marie Madsen, was born on August 24, 1901, at the family residence at133 Bellevue Avenue, Eau Claire, Wisconsin. She died a suicide July 27, 1957, at Madison, Wisconsin, and her remains were taken to Eleva, Wisconsin, and buried in the Skogstad Family plot in the Eleva Cemetery.
On August 3, 1929, Agnes was united in marriage to James R. Skogstad, in the Lutheran Church in Owatonna, Minnesota.
James was born June 13, 1903, in Pleasant Valley Township, Eau Claire County, Wisconsin, the son of John Skogstad and Rena Marie Amundson, both children of Norweigen immigrants. He died October 1, 1997 at his home in Madison, Dane County, Wisconsin aged 94 years, 3 months and 18 days. His SSN was 389-24-2694 issued in Wisconsin prior to 1951. They were childless.
