Last Rites for Pioneer Resident

Linda Melvina Marshall, a pioneer of the Estacada country, having lived here all her life, died at Oregon City October 14 at the age of 76, 3 months, and 17 days.

Mrs. Marshall was born June 26, 1875 at Eagle Creek, Oregon.

On August 24, 1892 she was united in marriage to John Marshall who preceded her in death in 1937. To this union five children were born. Surviving relatives are Frank and Fred Marshall of Estacada, Elmer Marshall of Sandy, Alice Dibble of Walton, and Lavena Ahnert of Estacada; also 13 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren; one brother William Huggins of Oregon City and one sister, Rose Westerman of Eagle Creek.

Services were held from the Chapman Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 17 at 2:00 P.M. followed by internment at Odd Fellows Cemetery.
