Sacred to the memory of Mary Adeline Easterling, wife of James M. Easterling and daughter of the Rev. Joel and Mary Colley. Born April 1, 1819. Baptized by her father on the 3rd Sunday in October 1842 and departed this life May 14, 1859. Aged 40 years, 1 month and 14 days.
In all the relations of life she was exemplary: as a daughter, dutiful and reverent; as a sister, kind and affectionate; as a friend, constant and true; as a wife, tender and faithful; as a mother, fond and enduring; as a Christian, humble and devoted. She has gone to enjoy and participate in the reward promised to the faithful Followers of the Lord, and as a simple tribute to her many virtues, this marble slab is dedicated by her husband.
