Mrs. Sarah Henrietta Park, 78, of Mapleton Depot, R.D., died Saturday, July 7, 1973 at 10:15 p.m. in the J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital, Huntingdon where she had been a patient for the past week.

She was born January 12, 1895 in Hill Valley, a daughter of Henry and Sarah (Bard) Dell. She was united in marriage to Earl Park on November 11, 1913 at her home in Hares Valley by the Rev. Samuel A. Norris.

Surviving are her husband and the following children: Anthony Park, Hatfield; Mrs. Charles (Grace) Rowe, Kenneth Park; and Mrs. Paul (Madeline) Rowe, all of Mapleton Depot, R.D. There are nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Park was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

She was a member of the Sugar Run Church of the Brethren in Hill Valley.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 10, at 2 p.m. from the McClain funeral home, Cassville. The Rev. Ivan L. Bickford will officiate and interment will be made in Cornelius Chapel Cemetery, Mapleton R.D. Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 o’clock this evening, and until the hour of the services on Tuesday.
