Singer. For many years she was a featured member of the Ross Mitchell Band And Singer, appearing on many of their recordings and touring extensively around the world. She later joined The Tornados ("Telstar"), giving the group a dynamic visual focus which it had lacked for many years and helping kick start the band's success as a popular cabaret and retro act. She was much loved by fans, with her approachable and friendly personality, always able to find time to sign autographs and pose for photographs even when she was exhausted after a performance. After a devastating cancer diagnosis in 1999, she continued to perform for as long as she was able, but sadly succumbed to the disease two years later with friends and family at her side.
