Mrs Cora C. Savells Dies January 5
Resident of Between The Rivers Called To Reward On January 5, 1940, death called Mrs Cora Catherine Savells, well known Between the Rivers resident.
Mrs Savells was born May 8, 1883, making her 56 years, eight months and 27 days old. On October 1, 1908, she was married to George Savells, and to this union were born four children.
She professed faith in Christ at an early age and lived a devoted Christian life. She was also a devoted wife and mother, and made the last request that those she was leaving behind were not to grieve for her as she was going to her reward.
Surviving are the husband and seven children, (three by a former husband, Craig Braton, whom she married on December 23, 1897) They are: Floyd and Elbert Braton and Myrtle Ahart; Curtis, Clovis, Arthur and Audrey Savells; 14 grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs Bramn Mitchell, Cadiz' Mrs Mollie McClard, Marshall county; and three brothers, Bailey Joyce, Leichville, Ark; George Joyce, Colorado Springs, Colo., and Frasier Joyce, Marshall county.
