Mattie was the daughter of Oscar and Mary M. (Crosby) Smith. She married James Monroe Ingram abt. 1885 in Smith County, Mississippi and had five children: Allie Belle, James William, Elbert R., Charles, and Lillie Mae.
Apparently Monroe died in the early 1900's and Mattie married Sidney Bullock Dec 31, 1908 in Lincoln Co., MS. After Sidney died, she married John W. Sullivan in Louisiana and they moved to Bowie County, Texas, where they lived until Mattie died. Mr. Sullivan returned to Louisiana and is buried there.
