Luden Harold Querry, 73, of Star Route, Calvin, died Saturday, Dec 31, 1983, at 3 a.m. in the J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital, Huntingdon, PA
He was born in Union Township on May 22, 1910, a son of Gilbert M. and H. Bertha (Dell) Querry. He was united in marriage to Hazel Campbell on June 15, 1934.
Surviving are his widow and the following children: Paul Querry, Hummelstown; Dennis Querry, Calvin; Mrs. Chester (Carma) Brumbaugh, Three Springs; Mrs. Edmund (Joy) Moore, Lancaster; Mrs. Fred (Sharon) Neville, Todd; and Mrs. Vanessa Gartland, Calvin. There are 11 grandchildren.
Two brothers and a sister survive: Melvin Querry, Mrs. Martha Hamilton, and Irvin Querry, all of Mapleton.
The deceased was a member of the Harmony Church of God, Calvin R.D. He was retired after 31 years of employment at Pennsylvania Glass Sand Company, Mapleton.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Jan 3, 1984 at 11 a.m. from the Robert I. McClain funeral home, Cassville. The Rev. Kenneth Cornelius will officiate and interment will be made in Bowman's Chapel Cemetery at Mapleton, R.D. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today, and on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the hour of the services.
