She was born July 2, 1926, in Cissna Park, a daughter of Wellington and Eunice Bishop Drilling. She married Earl E. Brantley on Sept. 21, 1947, at Cissna Park. He died Dec. 27, 1991.
She is survived by one daughter, Sandra (Ward) Alderman, one son, Michael Brantley,; four brothers, Wesley Drilling, Don Drilling, Roy Drilling and Glen Drilling, three sisters, Lois Stouder, Doris Kogler and Rose Mary Letlow, and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She was a member of Cissna Park United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women. She taught Sunday School for many years and worked at Krum's Drug Store and V&S Variety for 20 years.
