Joshua Lawrence Beaver, 50, of 1032 Edgewood ave., died Saturday at 3 p.m. in City hospital following a brief illness.
Mr. Beaver was born in Washington county and lived in East Liverpool for the past 40 years. He was employed as a storekeeper by the Treadwell Construction Co. of Midland.
Mr. Beaver was a member of the Eagles, Moose, Oaks and Orioles lodges.
He leaves his widow, Mrs. Grace Wolfe Beaver; three sons, Tech. Sgt. Edward Beaver and Pfc. Victor Beaver in the South Pacific, and Earl Beaver at home; two daughters, Betty Beaver, at home and Mary Sue Beaver of East Liverpool; his mother, Mrs. Margaret Beatty of East Liverpool; a brother, Dorey Beaver of Lisbon, and three sisters, Mrs. Thomas Wilson and Mrs. Walter Beatty of East Liverpool, and Mrs. Sone Powell of Lisbon.
Services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Martin funeral home by Rev. W. H. Baker, pastor of the Second Christian church. Burial will be in Riverview cemetery.
Friends may call Tuesday afternoon or night at the funeral home.
