Survived by nephew, Jim Gentry & wife Kathy; great-nephew, Chad Gentry; great-niece, Jennifer Gentry, all of Sacramento; sister, Helen Snyder of Benton City, WA; step sisters, Betty Miland of Vancover, WA and Chris Parks of Sand Springs, OK. Also survived by numerous nephews, nieces & cousins in Washington State. Preceded in death by husband, Art Jackson; parents, William & Ella Gentry; step mother, Edna Gentry; brothers, Ray and Glen Gentry, two step brothers and two step sisters. Known as "Aunt Glady" to many, Gladys came to California in 1936 living in San Francisco for a time before moving to Sacramento. She worked as a clerk in many of the shops before opening her TV repair shop, Associated TV, in downtown Sacramento. She had the first radio dispatch service trucks in Sacramento. After selling the business, she worked for the Dept. of Real Estate for 20 years before retiring in 1975.
