Francis Mitchell, 50, Passed Away May 15

Francis Mitchell, age 50, passed away Monday, May 15, at 10:00 p.m. at Jellico Hospital .

Survivors are the wife, Helen Mitchell; daughters, Shirly Anne of Knoxville , Elsie May and Anna Bell of Jellico; three step-children, Bernard Davis of the US Navy, Mrs. H. E. Cox of Knoxville , and Mrs. James D. Jones of Chicago; father, Frank Mitchell of Jellico; brother, Guy Mitchell of Jellico; sisters, Mrs. Mae Begliutti of Jellico, Mrs. Nora Campbell of Habersham, Mrs. Elizabeth Buffo of Sassafras, Kentucky, Mrs. Ethel Roach of Cumberland, Kentucky, Mrs. Mary Adams of Knoxville, Mrs. Martha Lawson of Syracuse, New York, Mrs. Allire Langley of Tampa, Florida, and Mrs. Rose Bowlin of Cincinnati; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon, May 18, at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Richard Allison and the Rev. John Hornshy officiating. Burtial was in Douglas Cemetery . Llewellyn Funeral Home was in charge.
