Guy Mitchell, age 88, of Williamsburg, formerly of Jellico, died Thursday, March 12, at the Jellico Community Hospital. He was a retired coal miner.
Funeral services were Sunday, March 15, at the Cox & Son Chapel, whit the Rev. Bill Mitchell officiating. Internment was in Douglas Cemetery.
Survivors include a son, Donald Mitchell, Norwood, Ohio; two step-daughters; sisters, Ethel Proach, Martha Lawson, Tampa, Fla., Elizabeth Buffo, Whitesburg, Ky., Nora Campbell, Dalton Ga., Mary Adams, Seymour, Tenn., Rose Bowling, Norwood, Oh., Alice Mitchell, Williamsburg, Ky.; two granddaughters; five great-grandchildren; one step-grandson.
