He was born in Cass Township on Dec 15, 1889 to Michael E. and Cora M. (Querry) Dell. He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Blanche Querry of Hares Valley, to whom he was married in 1911. He is survived by a son, Emory Dell, of Huntingdon. A grandson, Robert, and four great grandchildren also survive. A sister preceded him in death.
Mr. Dell had been a member of the First United Methodist Church in Huntingdon. He had formerly been employed as a foreman for the J.B. Kunz Company.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m, Friday, Jan 29, from the Robert I. McClain Funeral Home in Cassville. The Rev. William M. Brown will officiate at the service. Interment will be made in Bowman's Chapel Cemetery, Mapleton, R.D. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday and from 10 a.m. until the hour of the service Friday.
