Born October 5, 1959 in Petaluma, Calif., to John Raleigh and Valois Roderick Bybee. He married Merrilynn Porter, September 10, 1982 in the Jordan River LDS Temple. He was a loving, kind husband, father, son, uncle, brother, and dear friend. Delvan was a master auto mechanic, who was known for his sensitivity and love and helped anyone in need. He also worked as a realtor.
Surviving are wife, Merrilynn; daughter, RuthAnn; son, Jacob John, all of Murray; parents, Salt Lake City; brothers, sisters and their spouses, Stephen Lee and Caroll, of Logan, Utah; Charlene and Robert Behrend, of Orem; Mark Allen and Lisa, of Nibley, Utah; Michael Dean and Karen, of North Logan, Utah; MaryAnn and Thomas Clausen, of Cupertino, Calif.; Jack and Terry, of Salt Lake city; 62 nieces and nephews; two great-nieces and one great-nephew.
Funeral services will be held Friday, February 4, 1994, 12 noon at the Murray 29th LDS Ward Chapel, 6300 South 700 West. Friends may call Thursday, 6-8 p.m. at Memorial Estates Mortuary, 5850 South 900 East and Friday, one hour prior to services at the church. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates.
