Mrs. Wanda Lucille Oelze, 63, of Battletown, died Monday, March 11, at Humana Hospital Southwest, Louisville.
Mrs Oelze was born Aug 3, 1927, the daughter of John Robert and Virgie Mae Chism Troutman. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Michael, and one daughter, Shawnna.
She is survived by 6 children, Mrs. Judy Rose Singleton, Charles Bernard Oelze, Wolf Creek. James Franklin Oelze, Glenn Drew Oelze, Battletown, Mrs Janet Ruth Powell, Payneville and Mrs. Charlene Regina Conder, Rhodelia; a sister Mrs. Estelle Cunningham, Wolf Creek; two brothers, Andrew Troutman, Louisville and Louie Troutman, Battletown; a half sister, Mrs Alberta McDonald, Murray, a half brother, Robert Earl Troutman, Jasper, IN. 20 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 pm Friday from the chapel of Hager Funeral Home with the Rev. James R. Meder officiating. Burial was in Parr Cemetery.
