LOGAN, Utah - Ida Smart Bosen, 86, died Tuesday, November 7, 1995 in Preston, Idaho.
She was a former St. Charles and Riverdale, Idaho and Kaysville, Utah resident. Ida was born October 15, 1909 in Preston, Idaho, the daughter of James Gittin and Nora Elvina Jensen Smart. She married Roy Howard Bosen, November 7, 1928 in Soda Springs, Idaho. The marriage was later solemnized in the Logan Temple. He died August 3, 1970.
Her husband was employed by Utah Power and Light and they lived in many areas, moving with his work. She worked in Relief Society and was active in the Pink Lakes in Logan, having served as president. She enjoyed decorating her home, reading and camping.
Ida is survived by four daughter and spouses, Marilyn and James Williams, Albuquerque, New Mexico; Barbara and Gene Sorensen, Swanlake, Idaho; Bette and Clint Butler, Salt Lake City, Utah; Carolyn and Ronald John, Layton, Utah; seven grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren; one sister Jessie Budge, Medford, Oregon. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathryn Bosen and nine brothers and sisters.
