RHEA - Ruth Irene Drager, 91, died Friday, June 13, 2008, in Friona.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in St. John Lutheran Church in Lariat with the Rev. David Symm, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Rhea Lutheran Cemetery by Blackwell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Drager was born Aug. 31, 1916, in Giddings to Edwin and Clara Rothmann Durrenberger. She married Christian Drager on June 8, 1947, in Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Warda.

Survivors include two sons, Raymond Drager of Melissa and Curtis Drager of Friona (Rhea Community); two sisters, Dorine Teinert of Pasadena and Clara Falzone of Albuquerque, N.M.; a brother, Van Durrenberger of Giddings; three grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and 11 stepgreat-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to Lutheran Braille Workers, in care of St. John Lutheran Church in Lariat, Route 1, Box 146, Farwell, TX 79325-9753; or Life in Christ Academy, 725 County Road DD, Farwell, TX 79325.
