Age 83, died peacefully on December 31, 2003 at the MN Veterans Home. Born in Leroy, ND. In his youth, Amos served in the Civilian Conservation Corps and on the USS Santa Fe during WWII. He is preceded in death by parents, Israel and Clothilda; 2 brothers; and 7 sisters. Survived by children, Dorothy (Horace 'Tip') DeMontigny, Don (Mary) Cavalier, Linda (Dennis) Sha, Larry (Vicki) Cavalier, Verda (Dan) Sites, Janet (John) Sneitzer, Clifford (Tracy) Cavalier; 14 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and brothers, Raymond and Luverne (Donna) Cavalier.

Funeral Information:
Funeral Service Saturday 11AM ST. LUKE'S LUTHERAN CHURCH, 7000 Hinton Ave. @ 70th St., Cottage Grove. Visitation Friday 6-8PM SOUTHERN FUNERAL HOME, 414 Marie Ave., SSP and Saturday 1 hour prior to the service at church. Private Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
