Born May 17, 1944 in Gilbert, W.Va., he was the son of the late Clarence Burns Ball and Hattie Pearl Kennedy Ball.
He was a member of Belfast Full Gospel Fellowship Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Raymond Ball and Thurman Ball.He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Janice Maydean Ball of Belfast; one son, Larry Lee Ball and wife, Gay of Belfast; one granddaughter, Amber Honaker and husband, Micheal of Belfast; and one grandson, Bradley Ball of Belfast; a host of other relatives and friends; special caregivers, Dr. Faisal Chaudhry, Tonya McNulty and Melanie Vandyke. Funeral services will be conducted at Singleton Funeral Service Chapel at Cedar Bluff, Va. with the Rev. Danny Altizer, the Rev. Tim Lester and Larry Ball officiating. Burial will follow in the Reynolds Cemetery at Kents Ridge, Va.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
