Mr. Thurman Ball, age 65, of Belfast, Va. passed away Saturday February 2, 2008 at Maple Grave Health Care Center following an extended illness.
Born on August 25, 1942 in West Virginia, he was the son of the late Clarence Burns Ball & Hattie Pearl Kennedy Ball.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Raymond Ball.
Thurman attended the Belfast Full Gospel Fellowship Church.
He is survived by one brother, Larry C. Ball & wife Janice Maydean of Belfast, Va.; one nephew, Larry Lee Ball & wife Gay of Belfast, Va.; one great-niece, Amber Honaker & husband Micheal; and one great-nephew. Bradley Ball.
Funeral service for Mr. Thurman Ball will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 5, 2008 at the Singleton Funeral Service Chapel in Cedar Bluff, Va., with the Rev. Danny Altizer & the Rev. Tim Lester officiating. Burial will follow in the Reynolds Cemetery at Kents Ridge, Va.
Pallbearers will be Glen Harris, Micheal Honaker, Caleb Martin, Patrick Lyall, Larry Lee Ball & Bradley Ball.
The family will receive friends at the Singleton Funeral Service in Cedar Bluff, Va., from 6-9 p.m. Monday.
