Mae Thornton, 80, died Monday, August 29, 2005 at Copiah Living Center in Crystal Springs. Services are 10 a.m. today at Stringer Funeral Home chapel in Crystal Springs with burial in New Zion Cemetery.
Mrs. Thornton was a native of Philadelphia, Pa. She formerly worked for Edward Hineman and Crystal Springs Shirt Factory before retiring as a sales clerk for T.W.L stores and Super D. Drugs. Mrs. Thornton was a member of New Zion Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Everett Thornton; sons, daughters, sisters, 24 Grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
