Tyner and Alice Tyner Timmons, University of Oklahoma, Norman, OK. 1972, Volume 7, pp. 17-19 (Library of Congress No. QE99-C5-T97) [A public University that received taxpayer dollars for the program/product; thus presumed to be in the public domain]

Payne was born October 31, 1856, at Dublin, Graves County, Kentucky, the daughter of Chauncey Smith Payne and Cynthia Florilla Chipman Payne. She married Thomas Wesley Potts in Missouri in December 1877. Mr. Potts died May 15, 1912. They had ten children. Lena, Wesley Boyd, Nellie Gertrude, John Fergus, Emma Nevada, Ava, Cora, Millie May, Sarah Belle, and Nova Potts.
Lola was later married to W. F. Wing.
Mrs. Lola A. wing died last Saturday at her home in the west part of town, at the age of 68 years. Burial was at Lost City Cemetery near Hulbert, where the family resided until three years ago when they moved to Wagoner. The service was conducted by a Minister of the Pentecostal Church.
Mrs. Wing was the 6th great Granddaughter of Pilgrim John Howland that came to America on the Mayflower in 1620.
