POTTERSVILLE - Bessie (Stevens) McKee Wallace, 90, died
Tuesday (Dec. 3, 1991) at the Adirondack Tri-
County Nursing Home, North Creek.
Born on Dec 22. 1900, in Pottersville, she was the daughter of Frederick and Anna (Dillon) Stevens
Mrs. Wallace was a former member of the Veterans or Foreign
War Ladies Auxiliary of Pottersville
Her first husband, Frederick Daniel McKee, died in 1929, and
her second, John Wallace, died in 1979 One brother, William
Stevens, died in 1961, and one sister, Anna Mary Monroe, died in 1965.
Survivors include one son, Clarence "Mack" McKee of North
Creek; one daughter, Mildred E. McKee of Pottersville, one sister, Elizabeth Clipperd of Granville; two grandchildren; and. two great-grandchildren.
Services will be conducted 10 a.m. Fri. at the. Barton-McDermott Funeral Home Inc., Pine Street, Chestertown,
with the Rev. Daisy Allen, pastor of Sodom Community Church, officiating.
Burial Will be. in the spring at Griswald Cemetery Pottersville.
There are ho calling hours scheduled
The family suggests memorial donations be made to. the. Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary or the
Chestertown Emergency Squad.
