Funeral services were held for Howard B. Hatchett, who died after an illness at a Nashville Hospital on October 11, at the Baptist church October 13 at 3 p.m.
Mr. Hatchett, unmarried, was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Hatchett of the Wooley Springs community.
He was engaged in the grocery business at Bethel and being one of the gentle-nature and friendly disposition, will be greatly missed by a host of friends and relatives.
Rev. L. W. Hart, pastor of the local church of which the deceased was a member, was assisted in the last rites by the Methodist minister of Bethel, where Mr. Hatchett often attended services.
Interment was in the family cemetery at Wooley Springs, Rainey of Ardmore directing.
