RILEY I. OSBORN - Of Cross Keys, died at 8:20 p.m.yesterday, Sept. 4, 1972, in Mercy Hospital, where he was admitted Aug. 31, after an extended illness. He was born in Altoona April 21, 1890, a son of Irvin and Ella (Riley) Osborn, and was married to Edith Wilt on Feb. 12, 1912, by the Rev. Louis Scholppler in Hollidaysburg. Surviving are his wife, two children, Mrs. Effie Trexler of Cross Keys and Wesley R. of Damascus, Md.; five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Florence Grace of Detroit, Mich. Mr. Osborn was a member of the Carson Valley Church of the Brethren. He retired in 1953 after 35 years service as a boilermaker in the Juniata Shops. Friends will be received in the Haller Funeral Home, Hollidaysburg, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 10 p.m. tomorrow.
