SHREWSBURY – Bertha M. Douglass Cornbower, 87, a lifetime resident of the Glen Rock area, died Saturday at Shrewsbury Lutheran Retirement Village, where she lived the past year. She was the widow of Henry J. Cornbower.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday from the Geiple Funeral Home, 53 Main St., Glen Rock, with burial at St. Jacob's (Stone) Church Cemetery. Viewing will be tonight from 7 to 9 at the funeral home.
She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Glen Rock.
Surviving are: Two daughters, Elsie Markel, Shrewsbury, and Dorothy Wagner, Hollywood, Fla.; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Officiating will be her pastor, the Rev. David A. Brown.
