Mary Gordon, 88, of Jones County, died Saturday, June 7, 2008. Mrs. Gordon was born Dec. 27, 1919, in Butts County and had lived in Jones County for the past 67 years. She was the daughter of the late Jesse Willard and Allie Thaxton Willard. She was a member of Wayside Presbyterian Church and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Miller Gordon.
Mrs. Gordon is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Connie and Don Mullis and Jackie and Danny Batchelor, all of Jones County; grandchildren, Heather Batchelor, Nathan Batchelor, Michael Livingston, Beau Livingston, Paula Smith and Kipp Mullis; and great-grandchildren, Olivia Hope Livingston, Alexis Livingston, Kolton Batchelor, Grayson Mullis, Conner Mullis, Drew Mullis, Sara K. Smith, Emmeline Smith and Luke Smith.
