Mrs. Batchelor was born December 24, 1952 in Macon and had lived in Gray most of her life. She was the daughter of the late Jack Miller Gordon and Mary Elizabeth Willard. Mrs. Batchelor worked for GEICO for twenty-five years before retiring to be a "Jackie of all trades" which included house painting. However, she was best known by her children as being "the best stay at home mom there ever was." She was a huge fan of the Bulldogs, the Braves and the Falcons and enjoyed cheering her team on. Mrs. Batchelor was a member of Wayside Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Batchelor is survived by her husband: Danny Batchelor; son: Nathan Batchelor; daughter: Heather Batchelor; sister: Connie Whitehead; grandchildren: Kolton Batchelor, Anniston Batchelor, Tempy Roberts and Austyn White; numerous brothers and sisters in law and several nieces and nephews.
