MRS. AHLBRAND TAKEN BY DEATH
Widow, 82, Resident of City Many Years, Dies After Two-Week Illness.
Mrs. Anna Marie Ahlbrand, 82, widow of Frank Ahlbrand, died at 1:05 o'clock this morning at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Carl Piercefield, at 1725 Keller avenue. She had been in ill health for two weeks.
Funeral rites have been set for 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at St. Peter's Lutheran church. Brief services will precede the funeral at 1:45 o'clock at Flanigan, Reed and Hull funeral home. The Rev. August E. Brauer, pastor, will officiate and burial will be made at Garland Brook cemetery.
The casket will be open after Thursday noon at the funeral home, where friends may call until the services.
Mrs. Ahlbrand was born in Cincinnati, moving to this county at the age of 11. Since 1909 she had been residing in this city. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran church.
Survivors include one son, Martin Ahlbrand of this city; three daughters, Mrs. Edward Linder, Mrs. Harry Abbott and Mrs. Piercefield, all of this city; two brothers, Henry Weihe and William Weihe, both of Columbus; nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
