Mary Abbett, 82, 621 Maple, died Saturday at Bartholomew county hospital after a 2-week illness. She was the widow of Harry N. Abbett.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Reed funeral home by the Rev. Eldon Brandt of St. Peter's Lutheran church where Mrs. Abbett was a member. Burial will be at City cemetery. Persons may call at the funeral home.
Mrs. Abbett was born May 3, 1892, in Bartholomew county, the daughter of Frank and Anna Weihe Ahlbrand. She was married to Harry N. Abbett, who died Feb. 16, 1961.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Charles Boyd, 1160 Driftwood; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Dale Devers, 1428; a sister, Goldie Linder, 1902 Central; a grandson, Bruce Boyd and several nieces and nephews.
