Funeral of Dr. Jones' Child.

The funeral services of Simmons Blakely, the youngest child of Dr. and Mrs. Simmons B. Jones, were conducted this morning, by Rev. Dr. John A. Preston, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church. The little casket was covered with a profusion of floral emblems contributed by sympathetic hearts from all over the city. Dr. Preston's remarks were of a most beautiful character. The interment was in Elmwood. The pall bearers were Messrs. Robert Jordan, John Bryce, Lucian Walker and John M. Walker.
