Ruth Apple, also known as Sunny Apple, went to be with the Lord.

She was born in White Salmon, Washington.

Sunny worked for the IRS for 24 years as a Tax Examiner and retired on December 4, 2001.

Sunny started her family in Weatherford, Texas and moved to California in 1975.

She met the love of her life and best friend, Roy Apple, and they were married on November 18, 1989.

Roy and Sunny filled their lives with many fun memories of boating, fish-ing, camping, NASCAR races, and traveling the U.S. - along with many other good times. Her name says alot about her - Sunny Apple. She enjoyed a full life filled with love, warmth, and fun energy. She loved to be with her family and friends. Her children and grand-children were most important, as she is to them!

Sunny is survived by her husband, Roy Apple; son, Walt Harwell and his wife Laura of Weatherford, Tx; daughters, Sandi Harwell of Hudson Oak, Tx., Vicki Stephens of San Antonio, Tx., and Cristi Benitez and her husband Art of Clovis, Ca.; eight grandchildren Jonathan, Amber, Erica, Colton, Danielle, Courtney, Caressa and Jacob; her sisters, Wanda Ralls of Fresno, Ca., and Shirley King of Ohio; her mother-in-law, Mary Apple; and many more family members.

The family would like to invite all who knew Sunny to a viewing of her life from December 4, 1941, through May 31, 2008, at 8670 North Maple, on Tuesday, June 10, 2008, at 10:00 a.m.
